What is glass bottle slumping?
This is the process of taking a glass bottle in its original shape and cook it in a glass rated kiln to melt it.

What is a kiln?
A kiln is an oven used by potters and ceramic, glass and jewelry makers.

Is there air left inside after it is slumped (melted)? 
Each bottle will melt differently. You have no real control due to the thickness of the bottles being melted and NO BOTTLE is the same.  There can be air inside but, It doesn’t affect using or displaying your bottle.


Can I put my bottle server of bottle bowl in the dishwasher?
It’s not recommended, due to the potential of air gaps being at the neck of the bottle which would then allow water to enter and get trapped inside.  Also, the glass beads we use are for decoration only (if you prefer no beading on the bottle neck, you can just take them off).

I have my own odd or unique shaped bottle. Can you melt it for me?
Yes, we can take any glass bottle you may have sitting around and melt (preserve) it into a bowl, a wall display or a server.

Can I ship my order to someone else?
Yes, we can drop ship any bottle order to whomever you like!  

How can you personalize my bottle?
We can create any type of label or themed label you desire (i.e. your business logo, thank-yous, congratulations, wedding, anniversary, graduation, favorite recipe). The sky is the limit. You think it up, we can print it.

What decorating options do I have? 
We can decorate or not decorate your bottle. You may want a ribbon attached. Or you may want beads all in the same color tones, beads in bold color tones or maybe even a beach theme. If you have an idea—we’ll try to do it!

What are the wine /potter racks made out of?
They are hand crafted out of copper, and any bottle shape and size will fit in it. 

What do you mean by potter rack?
The bottle wine rack can also be used for holding small potted plant pots for your herbs or flowers. 

How do I hang up my wine or potter rack? 
We have brackets for purchase, or if you have a plant hanger in your home you can use that.
